Why Your TikTok Might Be Stuck at Zero Views

Many users attempting to gain traction on TikTok face the issue of getting zero views. This can be confusing and even make some reconsider whether it was worth starting on the platform at all. Some, finding no better solution, simply quit.

In this article, we'll explore why your account or individual video on TikTok might end up with no views, likes, or comments.

The main reason for zero views is often unoriginal content. If you contact TikTok support and ask why your videos aren't getting views, moderators often point to non-unique content.

If TikTok detects that your video has been previously uploaded by someone else, it will likely not give you any views. Trying to artificially boost views can even lead to your entire account being shadow-banned. TikTok's algorithms are constantly improving and are very good at identifying duplicates.

To fix this issue and start getting views, you need to significantly modify the video, for example, by cutting it and adding other elements like clips or images. Simply adding filters is usually not enough.

When you publish a regular video, TikTok usually gives it a few hundred views within a few hours to gauge engagement and assess interaction. If the algorithms like the results, the video will start gaining more views.

However, if a video, after gaining a significant number of views, starts interacting poorly with viewers, for example, if it's frequently skipped, the view count may quickly stop growing.

Make sure your video is unique and keeps viewers interested.

And that's not all...

If you're using TikTok to drive traffic to various legal or illegal affiliate programs, you may face constant bans on the platform.

A ban can also cause a lack of views, just like unoriginal content. In such cases, changing your account or even reinstalling the app might not help – you may need to reset your phone to factory settings, play around with proxy servers, and engage in other time-consuming tasks.

If an unoriginal video loses views, it's usually just that video. However, in the case of a blocked video or account, views may disappear from the entire account, or even the entire device.

To ensure your videos consistently get views, simply follow the platform's rules, make sure your video is unique (or at least well-modified), and avoid serious violations that might catch the algorithms' attention.

Do things properly, and good results will follow. Good luck! 😉
